  • Hyvät ja tukevat pinsetit. Pinsettisarja on hyvä valinta, jolloin useammasta vaihtoehdosta löytyy varmasti omaan työskentelyyn soveltuvat pinsetit
  • Sivuleikkurit. Metallille soveltuvat sivuleikkuri ovat ehdottomat palojen irrottamiseen. Korukäyttöön käytettävät pihdit ovat hyvä valinta
  • Varo metallin naarmuttamista metallisilla työvälineillä
  • Palat kiinnitetään joko väkäset kääntämällä 90 astetta tai kiertämällä ja taivuttamalla. Tasakärkiset pinsetit toimivat tähän hyvin
  • Rakennussarjat ovat pieniä ja osa paloista ovat muutamien millien kokoisia. Hyvä työvalo ja tarvittaessa silmälasit tai suurennuslasit auttavat kummasti rakentamista
  • Rakennusohjeet ovat yksityiskohtaiset, mutta voi olla että jokaista väkäsen taivutusta ei ole ohjeeseen merkitty. Käytä omaa harkintakykyä rakentamisessa ja kiinnityksissä
  • Vältä väkästen ja taivutettavien osien liiallista taivuttelua, ettei metalli väsy ja katkea
